How to set the default fee for each of your services

Setting your default fee for each service enables you to see what you typically charge for each service you offer. Whenever you add a service to an event in Band Pencil, the total service default fee will be calculated and displayed on the finance tab.

For example, you offer the following services:

1. Standard DJ package priced at £500
2. Deluxe DJ package priced at £750
3. Standard lighting package at £250
4. Deluxe light package at £500

If you were to add the deluxe DJ package and standard light package to an event, the default fee would show as £1,000 (£750 + £250).

Setting a service default fee

Within Band Pencil, you can set the fee for each service by following these steps:

1. Go to your services page.
2. Choose the service and select Edit Service.
3. Specify the Default Fee (don't include tax, only the standard rate).
